Removal of Green Card Conditions Even After Divorce
A question was asked if it is possible to still remove the conditions from a green card after two years if the applicant is no longer married to the US citizen. The answer is yes as long as the applicant qualifies for a waiver. This particular applicant married the US citizen in good faith and suffered domestic abuse from the spouse. These are factors to waive the marriage requirement and may still apply for removal of the conditions.
